The girls purr, "This Meow! Mango Lassi is nutritious as well as tasty because it's packed full of vitamin C, calcium, and protein." A Mango Lassi, an Indian favorite, is a nice to serve for breakfast or as a healthful and refreshing snack.
Ingredients:
12 ounces plain lowfat yogurt
1 large ripe mango, peeled, chopped
2 ounces orange juice
1 tablespoon demera sugar, to taste
dash of cardamom, ground (optional)
Directions:
Place the yogurt, mango, water, and sugar in a deep cup. Blend with an immersion blender until smooth. Pour into elegant glasses and serve chilled, topped with a dash of cardamom, if desired.
